About the event

The seminar will examine how strong the transmission of socio-economic status is between generations in Latin America and the Caribbean and what underlies it - income inequality, access to education, or inherited circumstances which people cannot control, such as race, gender, or family background. Is it possible to overcome the ancestor syndrome?
