Modern states recognise justice as the most important mechanism and guarantee for the protection and implementation of human rights. The relevant provisions are enshrined to varying degrees in the constitutions of modern states.
The combination of national and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights is a distinctive feature of the Latin American region. In this regard, the discussion of the effectiveness of these mechanisms, ways to improve them and disseminate best practices seems timely and in demand. The session participants are going to analyse the impact of the SDGs on social transformations, sustainable urban development, improving the quality of life, ensuring equality and social justice. Special attention will be paid to successful practices in implementing sustainable solutions at the state, corporate and public levels, as well as the possibilities of international cooperation to achieve global sustainable development goals.
